The five-year ACS Estimates are out!
On Tuesday of this week, the US Census Bureau released the 5-year estimates from the American Community Survey that I have mentioned in earlier blog entries. We had previously toyed with the idea of generating fact cards for each of the legislators this session, covering the counties that their respective districts touch. However, with the new 5-year estimates, we are now in the process of generating district-specific fact cards for all state house and senate representatives. This is the first time we have been able to do this, outside of a decennial census year and even though the margin of error can be large at times, it's pretty exciting stuff!!
